Public Transport from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Muang

There are two public transport options you can use to get from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Don Muang:

• The free AOT express shuttle bus. It runs every 15-30 minutes from Level 2 Gate 3. The travel time is around 1 hour, but during the peak hours, it may reach up to 2 hours. To use this bus, you need to show your printed or electronic ticket for a flight from Don Muang (the flight must be on the same day as your trip). The service is available from 5 am until midnight.

• The public bus 555 or the public van 555. The bus fare is 36 baht (1.10 USD), and the van fare is 50 baht (1.50 USD). They depart from Level 1 every 20 minutes. The travel time is around 2 hours. These services are not available after 11 pm.

Note that buses (and especially vans) don’t have room for very large baggage. Also, at the peak hours, they may be overcrowded. 

About the Route
