My driver was punctual and very kind. He helped me with my bags and also checked if I needed to stop for food or for the toilet. He was polite and conversational but also let me sit quietly when I needed to. I had a very comfortable drive and got to the airport very quickly.

The trip was absolutely comfortable. The driver picked us up punctually, brought us exactly to our hotel (although we mistakenly gave the wrong address) and made sure the hotel receptionist met us. It was clear, that the driver really takes care of us. So big warm thank you:)

The driver was earlier at the airport, which was great, because we didn't have to wait an extra hour. The car was very nice and clean, the driver drove safely (it was really raining). I totally recommend them.

Taxi and transfer in Montenegro
Montenegro is a very cozy small country in the southeast of Europe. It became independent in 2006, therefore Montenegro is only at the beginning of developing tourism. We have a chance to see Turkic and Byzantine heritage here. Tourists can visit the mountain monasteries of Ostrog and Morača or The Cetinje Monastery. The towns of Petrovac, Bar, and Sutomore will be perfectly suitable for those who prefer quiet holidays and beach resorts.
Montenegro is often chosen for family holidays with children as it is very calm and safe. Therefore, it’s better to think about transport for little travelers in advance. Everyone who has been in the country knows what taxi in Montenegro is like. Unfortunately, there is no state regulation for taxi services in the country. As a result, there are much more taxis that work illegally without a permit than official ones, and vehicles are mostly “worn-out”. Overcharge is very common in Montenegro, especially if you are going by taxi from the Tivat or Podgorica Airport. Drivers who work illegally can easily cheat using language barrier and different tricks.

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Montenegro?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Montenegro is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Montenegro arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.

How do I find my driver before my transfer in Montenegro?

For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
