How to Get from Belgrade Airport to Other Destinations
Belgrade International Airport is named after the great inventor Nikola Tesla. Being the main air hub in the country, it is located 18 km west of the city center. Travelers heading from here to the city, use buses, private transfers, and taxis.
Taxi from Belgrade Airport
One can find an official taxi stand in the arrivals area. As the city is divided into six zones, tariffs differ (from 1,400 to 6,000 RSD). So the cost of your taxi trip will depend on the area you are going to. Getting from Belgrade Airport to the downtown will cost 1,800 RSD (around €15). Also, there are always lots of private taxi drivers near the exit of the terminal but we advise you to avoid them, as they may increase fares a lot. Besides, you may reserve a car via phone. But note that not all taxi services offer English-speaking operators.
Transfer from Belgrade Airport
A private transfer is the most stress-free way of transportation. You may organize it at home, and avoid all the hassle when you arrive at Belgrade Airport. You won’t need to look for a car on the spot: our professional transfer driver will come for you by the time you land. He/she will take you from Belgrade Airport to your accommodation fast and with no stops. It’s easy to book a transfer at Kiwitaxi.com: just choose a suitable car, fill in all the data needed, and make a payment with your credit card.
We also offer transfers from Belgrade Airport to other Serbian destinations (Novi Sad, Nis, Kragujevac, etc.).
Public Transport from Belgrade Airport
You may reach the city from Belgrade Airport by shuttle A1. This service goes to Square Slavija. The price for a one-way ticket is 300 RSD (around €2.5), and it can be bought from the driver only by cash. After 6:40 pm, the shuttle runs every hour.
Another service you may use is N72 which goes to Zeleni Venac station. A ticket costs 89 RSD (around €0.75) if bought from the kiosk and 150 RSD (around €1.3) if purchased from the driver. If you choose this bus, your trip will be longer, as it makes more stops on the way.
But if you have plenty of baggage and don’t want to stand at the stop at Belgrade Airport for a long time, it would be better to choose a transfer or a taxi.
