Bangkok Airport to Pattaya: Transfers and Taxi
Transfers from Bangkok Airport to Pattaya
The resort of Pattaya in the southeast of the country is known all around the world. Its beautiful beaches, magnificent temples and parks, tasty cuisine, and noisy bars and discos attract millions of travelers annually. It offers entertainment for all ages and tastes.
Pre-booking a tourist transfer is the most hassle-free option to reach the resort from Bangkok airports — Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang. Here’s why:
No need to exchange your money into Thai baht. You can prepay for your transfer on the website in your currency.
No need to wander around the airport and wait. When your flight arrives, the transfer driver will already be waiting for you in the Arrivals.
The opportunity to choose from several car classes. If you have lots of large suitcases, you can book a spacious minivan. And a minibus will be a great option if you travel with a group.
Also, this travel option can save you lots of stress when traveling to the resort with children or elderly people. Planning a trip with a kid, remember to add a child seat to your order.
The Kiwitaxi transfer to Pattaya from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi costs from 46 USD and takes 1 hour and 25 minutes, and from Bangkok Don Muang — from 53 USD and 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Taxi from Bangkok Airport to Pattaya
The official taxi desk at Suvarnabhumi can be found on Level 1. Air hub cabs are available 24/7; all the official ones have the meter. The average metered taxi fare from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya is 1,500 baht or 45.6 USD (including the airport fee of 50 baht and toll charges). There are also private taxis waiting on Level 4. Those drivers may offer even 3,000 baht for the ride. If you’re good at haggling, you can try taking such a cab.
At Don Muang, booking a cab via the official desk costs 2,000 baht or 61 USD. But it’s better to ignore the desk and catch a taxi on the road, which is 50 m away from the air hub. Thus, you can avoid the airport fee, so the fare will be a bit lower.
If your hotel is little-known, it’s advisable to have its address printed out in Thai. Also, note that you’ll have to pay for traffic jams (the fare will be per minute). If you want to avoid all these problems, book a transfer. Our prices stay fixed once your order is made, and even getting stuck in a large traffic jam won’t affect them. The driver will know you exact destination address in advance and take you there without any problems.
