FAQ

How do I book a transfer in France?

Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.

Then, click on the “View Prices” button. Select the required transfer class and click "Book" to continue with the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer in France?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.

What should I do if my flight to France arrives early?

You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.

Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.

How do I find my driver before my transfer in France?

Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.

For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.

Detailed meet-up instructions can be found in your trip confirmation voucher. It will also include the driver’s telephone number.

Transfer and Taxi in France

France is a favorite country of poets and artists all over the world. It attracts tourists with its romanticism and a calm, steady way of life. The most visited cities are Paris, Saint-Tropez, Lyon, Bordeaux, Cannes, and Marseille. Many talented people created their masterpieces here, inspired by the beauty of the streets of Paris or the views of the Cote d'Azur. If you are coming to France, be sure to visit the museums of Louvre, Pompidou, Picasso, go to the Versailles Palace, and take a walk around the Moulin Rouge district. France is also interesting for children: Disneyland and Asterix Park have never left anyone disappointed.

There are several ways of traveling around France: buses, metro, and trains, but wherever you decide to go in France, taxi is always the best traveling option. And it is not surprising because this country is considered to be the ancestor of the service, therefore, passenger transportation here has a long and rich tradition. Of course, the English, the eternal rivals of the French, also claim the title of pioneers in this sphere, but they also acknowledge that it was in Paris where the foundations of transportation business emerged. The cost of a taxi in this country is one of the highest in Europe. In addition to paying for every kilometer of the route, there are extra payments for getting into a taxi cab, luggage, meeting at the airport in France, traffic jams, and night driving. Tipping is also a must. A taxi trip to the airport, for example, costs about 70 euros.

If you do not want to deal with future expenses, it's best to use the service that will allow you to know the price of a trip in advance, for example, a Kiwitaxi transfers service. You can find prices for a number of routes in France, including airports, on our website and immediately book a transfer online. The service of an individual transfer includes the fact that our driver will meet you at the airport with a nameplate, assistance with luggage, and a pre-planned route to your hotel or apartment to bypass traffic jams. Most Kiwitaxi transfer drivers in France know English, so the language barrier will no be a problem. In addition, if you have any questions, you can always call our English-speaking support service, which is ready to help you 24 hours a day during your holidays in France.
