Tirana airport (TIA) Transfers

Tirana Airport transfers with Kiwitaxi

Book a car in advance. A pre-booked taxi transfer meets you at the right time and takes you straight to your door without stress. No waiting in lines, no hunting for cash. The driver follows your flight and is ready when you walk out. A simple start to your Albania trip—welcome.

Tirana International Airport sits a short drive from the city. Most rides to hotels in the center take about half an hour, a bit longer during evening traffic. If you head to the coast or resorts, the trip is longer, yet direct and comfortable in a car with a driver.

What the price covers

The price you see online is fixed at checkout. It already covers pickup in the terminal, the trip to your exact address, taxes and tolls. If you add a child seat, ask for a short stop, or bring very large luggage, the cost updates before payment, so you see it in advance.

Why Kiwitaxi works best

• Meet-and-greet inside the airport terminal. Your driver waits with a nameplate, so you leave arrivals and find your car at once.
• 1 hour 30 minutes of free waiting for arrivals. If the flight is delayed or baggage takes longer, the driver stays on standby without extra cost.
• Fixed price and clear booking flow. No meter, no surge, and the fixed fare is confirmed before you pay.
• 24/7 support in English. We help with changes, questions, or route details anytime, day or night.

Traveling with kids or carrying skis, bikes, or other gear? Choose child seats and space for large equipment during booking, and the final price reflects these options.

Meeting your driver in the terminal

After you pass customs at Tirana Airport, walk into the arrivals hall. Look for a nameplate with your name near the exit to the public area. This is the easiest spot to meet your driver.

If baggage is delayed, tell the driver that you are delayed. You receive the driver’s phone and a messaging link in advance, so you can send a quick note. With a booked transfer, you can be sure you will be met.
