I was pleasantly surprised that my return ride was GREAT. I had some problems with my first ride from the Istanbul Airport into town and had planned to also handle the return trip with Kiwitaxi. This drive and this trip was very good. How do I book a transfer in Albania?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Albania?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.

What should I do if my flight to Albania is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.

There are four ways of traveling around Albania, no matter whether you are going to the airport or anywhere else: buses, shuttle buses, taxis, and transfers. The official taxi in Albania can be found only in Tirana. It can be distinguished by the red "ATEx" logo on a yellow background. You can either book it by phone, or find it near big hotels. Private taxicabs are more common here. But hailing a taxi is not accepted in Albania. Drivers themselves will not approach you as well, even if they see that you need a taxi.
