Coordinator did timely communication few days and the night before the trip with all details. Once reached Shanghai Pudong airport, there was timely communication on the arrival of the driver too. Throughout the intercity transport journey, the driver drove professionally and carefully without delay. We felt safe the whole journey. How to get from Patong Beach to the Airport and Other Destinations
Patong Beach is famous not only for its beaches but also for its dining, nightlife, diving and various attractions. It is the most popular and crowded place on Phuket, which became a tourist Mecca after the opening of Phuket air terminal, located 35 km from Patong Beach.
Taxi from Patong Beach
It is not so easy to find a cheap taxi in Patong as drivers like increasing the price. If you decide to go from Patong to the air hub by taxi, be ready to barter with a taxi driver. If an average taxi fare from the air hub to Patong Beach is 550 Baht (17.6 dollars), the return trip price will be much higher, especially if you are going to the air hub late at night when public transport is not available.
Transfer from Patong Beach
One of the easiest options to get from Patong Beach to Phuket Airport is to take a Kiwitaxi transfer. A transfer trip from air terminal will take approximately 50 minutes. Our transfer rates are always fixed. We suggest you different vehicle classes, for instance, the cheapest trip from Patong Beach to the air hub in a micro class car costs 26 euros, it is an ideal transfer for couples with a child. If your group consist of 4 people, you might choose an economy or business class cars, the prices are 27 and 29 euros respectively.
We can drive you not only to the nearest air hub but to other Thai destinations such as Krabi International Air Terminal, Rassada Pier, Karon, etc. A 3-hour trip to Krabi costs 84 euros, the price of a 35-minute ride to Rassada Port is 22 euros. With Kiwitaxi you will get the service you really deserve.
Public transport from Patong Beach to Airport
Unfortunately, public transport here is far from ideal. There are no direct buses from this beach to the air hub, so you will need to go by local bus to Surakul Stadium stop, which is close to Phuket Town. It will cost you around 30 Baht (1 dollar). You need to go there and then make a change there to catch the Airport Bus. The price of a whole 2 or even 3-hour trip will be at least 130 Baht (4,20 dollars). Never forget that you can pay only with Thai Baht in public transport.
You can book a minibus (also called minivan) in advance, just go to any tour agency at least one day before departure. It will cost you around 200 Baht (6,40 dollars). There is no space for luggage in minibuses.
Interesting information
It is always a good idea to swim, sunbathe and relax, but if you want to learn something new, do not miss the chance to visit the Mining Museum which is 12 km from Patong Beach.
In case you are interested in religions or architecture, you can find a lot of interesting Buddhist temples all over the island.

How do I book a transfer in Patong?
Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Patong?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Patong is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Patong arrives early?
