Taxis from Geneva Airport to Saint Gervais

In the parking space of the air hub, you will get a long line of black cabs with yellow helmets (be very careful of those cars that do not fit this description). Although you see the cars parked there, you will most likely -like a lot of other tourists- have to stand in a long and tedious line if you want to take one of them. 

This process can take a long time and may not be worth it. Many times, cab fares are not fixed so if you are traveling with more people or carrying a lot of luggage, this method of transportation may be the most expensive. 

The cost of a ride to the resort is around 250 euros. You can pay by credit card or cash but keep in mind that sometimes drivers don't have change for some bills. Keep in mind that it may be difficult to find a driver willing to drive you so far to the resort so it may be better to arrange a car in advance to avoid waiting and stress.

Public Transport

There are some options:

• CFF Railway Station of Genève Aéroport train: All trains leaving the air hub stop in the city center at the Cornavin station (7 minutes journey between the two stations). The "Léman Express" connections serve more than 45 train stations in Switzerland and France, including the French cities (Annecy, Annemasse, Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains, Le Fayet, etc.) that depart from the Cornavin station. The train ticket to France can be purchased on machines in the stations or the counters of the Travel Centre in Genève-Aéroport station.
• Regional Buses: The bus route of The Chamonix - Pays du Mont Blanc (Megève, Les Contamines, Combloux, Praz s/ Arly and Le fayet serves 6 x per day.
