Public Transport from Poznan Airport to City Centre

• Bus route 159. Its final stop is ‘Poznan Glowny’, which is in front of the main railway station — it reaches it in 30 minutes. It operates every 15-20 minutes until 11 pm. The stop is located right in front of the passenger terminal. A ticket valid for 45 minutes costs 5 PLN (1.2€) — you can buy it from newsstands inside the terminal, a ticket booth at the stop, or onboard the bus (some of them have special ticket machines, but note that they only accept coins). After 11:30 pm, you can take the bus 242, which runs along the same route, but keep in mind that it’s less frequent — it operates every hour.
• Bus route 148. It also goes to the city centre, but its nearest stop is located not in front of the terminal, but 200 m from it — at Wyszeborska Street.

Public transport won’t be the best travel option if you travel with children or have large bags, as it often gets crowded.
