He was on dot and had very good behavior. He even took a stop on way to have a visit to the monastery. After reaching tiblis he showed us the locations for shopping before dropping us at the hotel.

Transfer and Taxi in Georgia

Georgia is a country located in the western part of Transcaucasia on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. It is hard to find someone who has not heard about famous Georgian wines, the amazing longevity of the mountaineers, Lake Ritsa or Mount Kazbek. Even the world-famous Borjomi mineral water came to us from Georgia. Tbilisi is a capital city of the country. Here tourists like visiting the Old Town, which houses the V-century Anchiskhati Basilica, Rustaveli Avenue, and Liberty Square. Those who go to Georgia for a beach holiday usually stop in Batumi, Kobuleti, Sarpi or Mtsvane Kontskhi (also known as the Green Cape).

Tourism on package tours is not very popular in Georgia: it is a country of mountains and gardens, and sitting in one hotel all day long is boring for travelers. For them, there are four traveling options in Georgia: buses, shuttle buses, taxis, and transfers. Many rent a car to visit as many cities as possible. And those who do not want to sit at the wheel all day and prefer comfortable trips, choose the taxi in Georgia. Taxi drivers here are quite friendly, they will gladly tell you about their beloved country and give you some advice where to buy good cheese and wine. But not all of them are so friendly. Here is a typical scheme of how drivers increase the cost of the taxi trip in Georgia. At the airport, the driver will agree to the price you have offered, but when you come to the hotel or other destination, he will say the price three times higher than the original one, and if you try to argue, the English language will be forgotten immediately.

If you travel with children, elderly relatives or women, we strongly recommend not to argue with Georgian taxi drivers. It is best to order an official transfer in Georgia through the Kiwitaxi online service, whether you are going to the airport or anywhere else. You choose a vehicle, book it at a fixed price and enjoy a pleasant trip. Our transfer driver will meet you at the airport at any time with a nameplate and always help with luggage. And most importantly there will be no arguments about money or routes: after all the service is paid in advance.
