Bishkek Airport: Transfers and Taxi
Transfers from Bishkek Airport
Private transfers from Bishkek Manas International Airport (FRU) are the most comfortable and convenient way to get to the most visited cities, towns, and villages in Kyrgyzstan: Bishkek, Cholpon-Ata, Karakol, Bosteri, etc. Also, from this airport, you can get to Kazakhstan — to the city of Almaty and its airport.
Using the transfer service will allow you to:
- Leave the air hub as fast as possible. With a pre-arranged transfer, you won’t have to spend your time at a bus stop or a taxi office: the Kiwitaxi driver will pick-you up right upon your arrival.
- Avoid visiting a currency exchange point. You can prepay for a trip in your currency and thus avoid buying the local currency at the air hub.
- Choose from several car classes. We offer cars for all travel needs, and even if you’re a large group, you can find the suitable vehicle for you. You can also add child car seats to your booking if you travel with children.
This is the most hassle-free transport option in case you’re arriving at night.
Bishkek Manas Airport is located around 25 kilometers northwest of Bishkek. The private transfer will take you to your accommodation in the city in around 1 hour and 10 minutes. The ride costs 23 euros.
Taxi from Bishkek Airport
The official airport taxi service is called Taxi Manas. You can book a taxi at their office on the first floor of the terminal or via phone. They offer trips throughout Kyrgyzstan and to the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan. The taxi stand can be found around 100 m from the terminal building.
The taxi fare to Bishkek city center is 600 KGS or 7.5 euros and to its microdistricts is 700 KGS or 8.6 euros.
Note that taxi fares may be more expensive at night hours and in summer. Also, keep in mind that the airport service only offers sedans and minivans, so if you’re a group, you won’t find the suitable vehicle for you. In this case, a private transfer will be the best option for you: with Kiwitaxi, you can book a minibus with 7, 10, or 13 seats.
Public Transport from Bishkek Airport
The only public transport option operating at Manas Airport is the shuttle bus 380. It runs to the city of Bishkek every 15 minutes (the final stop is Beishenaliev Street, which is in the city center). The bus stop is located on the western side of the terminal square. The journey costs 40 KGS and takes 40 minutes. You pay the fare in cash to the driver.
Keep in mind that this travel option is not available between 06:40 and 21:00. Also, as this is not a large bus but only a minibus, it won’t be the best option in case you have large bags or are traveling with small children.
Booking a Transfer from Bishkek Airport
You need to make your booking at least 24 hours in advance. However, we will try to find an available car for you even if you contact us later.
When booking a transfer, you need to:
- specify the date and time of your trip
- select the desired car class
- specify extra services if needed.
Once your booking is made, you will receive an email with a confirmation and a voucher. The voucher will contain all the trip details: its date and time, the pick-up point, and the driver’s contact info.
