How to Get from Torremolinos to Other Destinations
Torremolinos was the first municipality in Costa del Sol to develop from a fishing village to a resort city, a popular destination for holidays. It is also closest to Malaga Airport between other cities along the coast. Apart from the beaches and resorts, the city is known for its nightlife, events in the summer, and its multicultural atmosphere with so many expats.
Public Transport from Torremolinos
As Torremolinos like Fuengirola is very close to Malaga, you can arrive at its air hub in ten minutes with C1 train run by Renfe. The train is every 20 minutes and it costs €1.80 and it’s the easiest and quickest option. The main railway station is an underground one, so look out for an entrance like the subway. With the bus from Torremolinos, it takes 20 minutes, the fare makes €1.28. From the main bus stop on Calle Hoyo 8, you can buy your ticket from a small kiosk.
Taxi from Torremolinos
Like in many Costa Del Sol cities, taxi service in Torremolinos has fixed rates so you should not be afraid of inflated prices. But you pay an extra fee of €5.50 when traveling to and from the airport by taxi and it costs you €17.40 for normal tariff and €21 for the night tariff after 10 pm. How do I book a transfer in Torremolinos?
