He was by far the best taxi driver I have ever had. He contacted me 48 hours before my ride to ask for the details, and again 4 hours before to confirm the pickup location. How to Get from Rust Europa-Park to Other Destinations

Europa-Park is an amusement park located in Rust, in the southwest of Germany, close to the German-French border. It is the second popular theme park in Europe after Paris Disneyland (around 5 million people visit it each year). People reach and leave this place by public transportation or using private transfers and taxis.

Taxi from Rust Europa-Park

It is better to order a taxi from Europa-Park beforehand. There is no guarantee that there will be available cars waiting for customers at the nearest train station (Ringsheim), as it is rather small. In case you are heading to another country, keep in mind that there may be an extra charge for driving abroad. According to German taxi services, the average prices from Europa Park are the following: to Baden-Baden - €140, to Frankfurt - €250, to Basel and Strasbourg - €140.

Transfer from Rust Europa-Park

If you don’t want to make changes, want to know the exact journey cost in advance and just want to make your travel stress-free, pre-booking a taxi transfer with Kiwitaxi will be a great idea.

Public transport from Rust Europa-Park

Most often, people go from here to their destination by rail. First, they take the bus from the park (service 7231) to Ringsheim railway station. Train travel to the nearest city of Freiburg, for example, costs €8.8. But note that late in the evening, it may be complicated to leave the station. So in this case, you will have to order a transfer or a taxi.

Also, guests of Europa-Park hotels can use special shuttle services. Thus, getting to Freiburg will cost €95, to Baden-Baden city or airport - €180, to Stuttgart city or airport - €355.

Travel agencies also offer their clients transfers to and from the park.

Useful Information

Europa-Park is divided into 16 theme zones. Most of them are small copies of some European countries with its major architectural sights. The park has around 100 rides and has an area of around 94 ha. Numerous theatrical performances and parades take place here regularly. And if you feel hungry, you can find amazing cafes in each of the country zones offering their national food. The winter season in Europa-Park lasts from November 24 till January 6, and the summer season - from March 24 till November 4.
