Split Airport to Tisno: Transfers and Taxi
Tisno is located partly on the island of Murter and partly on the same name peninsula. Back in the day, the main activity was a trade in grape and olive growing. Today agriculture is second to tourism.
This is most famous for its pebble beach Jazine, which is located in the camp with the same name. Jaine beach is sandy and the sea warm and shallow making it ideal for small children.
Would it be a Croatian tourist destination if it didn’t have great nightlife and festivals? During the summer it’s home to some of the most popular festivals in Croatia: Electric festival, Garden festival, Suncebeat, Soundwave festival, and the stop making sense festival.

When it comes to getting a cab, it is better to make an online reservation. This ensures not only that you’ll have a car waiting for you who’s already agreed to take you to your accommodation, but also: you’ll agree on a price.
So, if you prefer this service and pay more than you need to, make sure you hire a car ahead of time. It’s best to use an app from one of Croatia’s biggest companies like Cammeo and EkoTaxi, or for a more local option, TisnoTaxi.

Public Transport
There are two options for public transport. A bus, or a train and then a bus.
The first option takes three hours and costs $15USD. You have to take two buses, the first leaves every two hours and the second bus leaves every four hours. This means, if you’re not careful this bus trip can take a lot longer than three hours.
The second option is a few dollars cheaper ($13USD) takes just over four hours, and involves two trains, a 10-minute walk, and then a bus. The trains leave every four hours so you are definitely going to be waiting a fair bit at train stations. And then once you make it to the bus stop, the bus also only leaves every four hours.
So, while public transport is far cheaper than a car ride, our service will get you to your destination in an hour and two minutes. That’s two to three hours faster than public transport. What’s more, Kiwitaxi takes you straight to your accommodation. A bus or train won’t do that, you’ll have to make your way from the station to your accommodation, which will involve the added expense of an Uber or cabs.
