Taxi from Calella
You can call a taxi in Calella by phone or order it online. A trip to Barcelona center will take about 40 minutes and cost from 80 euros. The distance from the town to El Prat Airport is a bit longer, so getting there by taxi will cost you from 98 euros. In case you need to reach Girona air hub, you’ll have to pay from 60 euros. Transfer from Calella
Using a private transfer, you get a car at the agreed time and place, receive help with luggage from your transfer driver and enjoy the comfortable journey. Public Transport from Calella
There is a direct railway connection between Calella and Barcelona. You will reach the Spanish capital in an hour for about 6 euros. You cannot get directly by rail from the town to El Prat Airport, but can change a train at certain stations in Barcelona.
Sagales transport company provides buses connecting the town with both El Prat Airports and Girona air hub. You should remember that those buses are the passing ones – they make all scheduled stops on the route, that is why the travel time can be a bit longer. You can easily reach Barcelona by bus too. About Calella
A 2 km-long beach honored by the Blue Flag is not the only heritage of the town. The town is known by ancient settlements dating back to the 1st century B.C. Officially, in 2018, the town will turn 680 years old.
The main symbol of Calella is the lighthouse and two towers known as “Les Torretes”, from which the town is beautifully overlooked.
