How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Podgorica Airport: Transfers and Taxi

Transfers from Podgorica Airport

Pre-booked transfers from Podgorica (also known as Golubovci) Airport (TGD) are a great way to reach the capital city of Montenegro and its most popular resorts (Budva, Becici, Kotor, Tivat, Petrovac, Sveti Stefan, Bar, Sutomore, etc) quickly and in comfort:

  1. You won’t have to spend your time looking for an available taxi or waiting for a train. When you arrive, your driver will already be waiting for you in the designated meeting place at the terminal, so you’ll leave the air hub immediately.

  2. You’ll pick the most suitable car for you. We offer a variety of car classes for all travel needs, so whether you’re a business traveler, a family, or a big group of friends, we have a perfect option for you.

  3. You won’t have to worry about the language barrier. We’ll provide your driver with all the necessary journey details beforehand, so you won’t have to discuss anything with him.

You can book one or more child restraints if you travel with children (by the way, finding a taxi with a few restraints on-site isn’t always easy).

Golubovci air hub is situated 10 km south of the city. The private transfer will take you to the doors of your hotel in the city in around half an hour. The cost of the journey is 16 euros.

Taxi from Podgorica Airport

Taxis are waiting at the rank on the left-hand side of the terminal. In order to avoid being overcharged, use the official cab services only: there are two official cab operators at the air hub — they’re called Royal Taxi and Lider Taxi. You can also reserve a licensed cab by phone or online.

The fixed price for an official taxi from the airport to Podgorica is 12 euros (for a 4-seater car).

The largest vehicle the official companies offer is a 12-seater one. If you’re a group of more than 12 people, a private transfer would be a better choice: with us, you can reserve a minibus for up to 13, 16, or 19 persons and avoid taking two cars on-site.

Public Transport from Podgorica Airport

There’s no bus connection to the city. You can only use trains to get there, but this option has many disadvantages. First, you need to reach the ‘Aerodrom’ station, which is located around 800 m from the air hub (note that the road to the station is not that good, so walking there with large bags or small children in the heat might be quite hard). Trains will take you to the city in 15 mins for just 1.2-2 euros, but they’re very infrequent — you may spend up to 3 hours waiting for one. Also, they don’t run after 20:30.

Most of other popular resorts can only be reached with a change in the city.
