I would like to thank again here to Lina, the lovely person who took care of this ride update, and everything related. The initial driver, by hearing there will be an extra passenger required 15 euro cash, saying he will not drive my manager to the airport unless we are willing to pay. I asked Lina to allocate me a new driver; Aleksandr (the new driver) was a remarkable driver, coming even earlier to pick my manager from the hotel and the other passenger. Lina ensured me there will be no extra payment. The driver kept close by whatsapp saying what car and registration number my manager should look for, when exiting the hotel to go the airport! Exquisite services! Thank you!

We made a last minute reservation for airport transport, which made us nervous. But it was easy to order, confirmation received immediately and the driver contacted us by WhatsApp after confirmation. He also contacted about 10 minutes before pick-up to tell he is coming. Great service! The car was fresh and clean and the driver was very polite. We warmly recommend Kiwitaxi!

Decided quite late to leave the cruise ship and take the option of an o’night stay in Bangkok. Checked out a few transport options and settled on Kiwitaxi and we’re glad we did. Seamless booking, kept in contact, leading up to pick up, very pleasant, safe and efficient driver, very little English (and our Thai is non-existent) but he had all the information. The car was late model and very clean. We’re using the company again for our return trip - so far, seamless process. Highly recommend..

How to Get from Venice Port to Venice City Center and Other Destinations
In case you are planning to take an Italy cruise, you are likely to come to Venice Port – one of the busiest maritime terminals in the Mediterranean. This article covers information on how to get from here to the downtown and other popular destinations.
Taxi from Venice Port
One may take a taxi from the port to the Piazzale Roma at fares starting from 20 euros and spend about 15 minutes on the trip. The Piazzale Roma is as close as 4-wheeled taxis can get to the historic city. There are certain limitations on using land taxis, due to the city’s density. Reaching Venice Marco Polo Airport by taxi will take from 45 euros and 40 minutes, while a trip to Treviso Airport will cost from 60 euros and last for about an hour.
Also, you can take a water taxi from the cruise basin to the city center, a 10-minute trip costs from 70 euros. Reaching Marco Polo air hub will take from 100 euros and 20 minutes.
Transfer from Venice Port
If you arrive with children or have large luggage, you will simply have neither time nor will to arrange your transportation in a fast-track manner. In this case, a pre-booked transfer is optimal. The thing is you order a transfer online in advance and then enjoy things going the way you planned. Public Transport from Venice Port
Some cruise ships provide shuttle buses from the terminal to the Piazzale Roma: prices start from 3 euros per tickets, the trip takes on average 25 minutes. Local ferries are also popular among tourists. Alilaguna Lines will get you to the city center in half an hour and from 8 euros per ticket. The Linea Blu ferry will bring you to Marco Polo Airport by water in 2 hours for 8-15 euros per ticket. Keep in mind that ferries may delay departures while waiting for filling up with passengers. So if you are in a hurry, it may be better to book taxi or transfer.

How do I book a transfer in Venice (water boat included) port?
