Service was very good, immigration took ages and our driver waited for us. He was then happy to wait whilst we got cash at the airport. He then dropped us at our hotel which was tricky to find, but he made sure that we found it and got in. Great driver and service

The driver was fantastic. Very pleasant. Smooth driver despite the rules of the road in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend the driver. Checked every 1hr if we wanted to stop for toiltet, food, coffee. Very professional

Transfer in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a state in South Asia, located on the eponymous island near the southeast coast of Hindustan. There are many interesting tourists' attractions in the capital city of the country, Colombo: The Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara or Kelaniya Temple, St. Lucia's Cathedral, St Peter's Church, Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple, Old and New Kathiresan Kovil Hindu Temples, and Ganesha temple. Be sure to visit the town of Kandy - the last capital of ancient rulers, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is worth visiting to see the Temple of the Tooth of the Buddha, the Royal Palace, and the monasteries of Malvatte and Asgiriya. However, most tourists come to Sri Lanka to have a holiday by the sea. The most popular resorts are Negombo, Mount Lavinia, Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwala, Bentota, Hikkaduwa, and Halle.
What is the best way of traveling around Sri Lanka: buses, taxi or transfer? The first option will be somewhat cheaper, but most often this is the only advantage. For example, getting to the hotel from the airport in Sri Lanka is faster with a transfer service, as you do not need to look for a vacant taxi - the driver will meet you at the appointed time. Secondly, most taxi drivers do not speak English very well, and some private taxi drivers do not even have a license to carry passengers. How do I book a transfer in Sri Lanka?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Sri Lanka?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Sri Lanka is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Sri Lanka arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.
Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.
How do I find my driver before my transfer in Sri Lanka?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
