I booked an airport transfer from the airport to my hotel and back, and both rides were wonderful. Both rides we booked with KIWI taxi were as expected. Drivers were considered and cacreful drivers, on time and helpful with luggage. I forgot my handbag in the car at the ride from Klaeng to Bangkok. I need a special medicine which was in that handbag. Immidiately I contacted Kiwi by phone as well via chat via website. The responsible local manager and Anne Woods at chat were absolutely of help! It did not take a full hour and the driver brought my handback to the hotel. So even in case of an emergency this company is of help and did immidiately all needed to help me. I cannot stress how thankful I am and without any hesitation I recommend this company!

Very friendly driver that took us from BKK airport to Trat very smooth and comfortable. We were two and got plenty of room in the car. Driver spoke no english but we used Google Translate to communicate with each other. I would definitely use Kiwi taxi again and the same driver if I could choose.

When we were little children, words like Zanzibar and Kilimanjaro probably seemed an abracadabra to us. But now we know that these are real places and they are located in Tanzania. The island of Zanzibar is famous for the best beaches in the country, and the house, where Freddie Mercury was born, is also located there. Kilimanjaro is the highest point in Africa and a potentially dangerous volcano.
Officially, Tanzania has two capital cities, but the historical and cultural center of the country is still Dar es Salaam. Here you can visit the National Museum of Tanzania, part of which is the village museum "Makumbusho", where you can get acquainted with the life of the indigenous population of the country. And, of course, you should definitely go on a safari in the famous Serengeti Savannah.
Taxi is the most convenient traveling option here. The usual public transport in Tanzania, represented by buses and minibuses, can only be found in large cities. In remote settlements, you can use only daladalas (a local analog of Asian tuk-tuk) and pick-up trucks. Taxi for foreigners in Tanzania has one nuance: each driver is required to obtain a permit to carry a foreign guest. The rule is strictly observed since every car with a "white" tourist is sure to be stopped by the police. If the driver does not have a permit, he has to pay a fine or the passenger has to get out of the car. No need to guess what the taxi driver would prefer. If the driver has not made a permit in advance, he or she will first take you to the office, and you will have to wait a few minutes for the document to be prepared.
Official taxi cabs in Tanzania are white with a green stripe and a circle in the middle of it, the license plate is also white. Each taxi must have a sticker indicating how many people this driver is allowed to carry. You should negotiate the price in advance and try to halve it. Note that the tariff on the popular route, to the foot of Kilimanjaro, can be extremely high.

How do I book a transfer in Tanzania?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Tanzania?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Tanzania is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Tanzania arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
