How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Transfer in Tanzania

When we were little children, words like Zanzibar and Kilimanjaro probably seemed an abracadabra to us. But now we know that these are real places and they are located in Tanzania. The island of Zanzibar is famous for the best beaches in the country, and the house, where Freddie Mercury was born, is also located there. Kilimanjaro is the highest point in Africa and a potentially dangerous volcano.

Officially, Tanzania has two capital cities, but the historical and cultural center of the country is still Dar es Salaam. Here you can visit the National Museum of Tanzania, part of which is the village museum "Makumbusho", where you can get acquainted with the life of the indigenous population of the country. And, of course, you should definitely go on a safari in the famous Serengeti Savannah.

Taxi is the most convenient traveling option here. The usual public transport in Tanzania, represented by buses and minibuses, can only be found in large cities. In remote settlements, you can use only daladalas (a local analog of Asian tuk-tuk) and pick-up trucks. Taxi for foreigners in Tanzania has one nuance: each driver is required to obtain a permit to carry a foreign guest. The rule is strictly observed since every car with a "white" tourist is sure to be stopped by the police. If the driver does not have a permit, he has to pay a fine or the passenger has to get out of the car. No need to guess what the taxi driver would prefer. If the driver has not made a permit in advance, he or she will first take you to the office, and you will have to wait a few minutes for the document to be prepared.

Official taxi cabs in Tanzania are white with a green stripe and a circle in the middle of it, the license plate is also white. Each taxi must have a sticker indicating how many people this driver is allowed to carry. You should negotiate the price in advance and try to halve it. Note that the tariff on the popular route, to the foot of Kilimanjaro, can be extremely high.
