The car was smaller than expected but the driver still managed to fit all our luggage in... he was very polite and even arrived 45 mins early and was happy to wait for us. A great service thank you ?

Your journey will start at the airport: the two largest airports in Israel - Ben Gurion and Eilat - receive flights from around the world 24 hours a day. Then you have to choose a public or private transportation. The first option in Israel includes buses and shuttle buses. But if you prefer the second option, here are some of its features. The passenger service system is well developed in the country on the shores of the Dead Sea: you can order a taxi even on Friday evening when Shabbat starts. However, ordering a taxi by phone is a paid option, and if you are planning to have a taxi trip on holiday, on Saturday or at night, be ready to pay extra. It is difficult to say how much a taxi in Israel costs as it is calculated according to a taximeter, and leaving driver a tip is not accepted. Before getting a license to carry passengers drivers pass an exam on driving regulations and an English test, so you will not have any difficulties in communicating with them. Still, the service of booking a taxi in advance will help to avoid wasting time and effort.
Booking transfers in Israel, however, is very simple. You just have to choose the route and the type of the vehicle you need on the Kiwitaxi website, and then leave some details: the place where you need to be picked up (airport for example), the needed destination, and the exact date. How do I book a transfer in Israel?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Israel?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Israel is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Israel arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.
Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.
How do I find my driver before my transfer in Israel?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
