I would like to thank again here to Lina, the lovely person who took care of this ride update, and everything related. The initial driver, by hearing there will be an extra passenger required 15 euro cash, saying he will not drive my manager to the airport unless we are willing to pay. I asked Lina to allocate me a new driver; Aleksandr (the new driver) was a remarkable driver, coming even earlier to pick my manager from the hotel and the other passenger. Lina ensured me there will be no extra payment. The driver kept close by whatsapp saying what car and registration number my manager should look for, when exiting the hotel to go the airport! Exquisite services! Thank you!

We made a last minute reservation for airport transport, which made us nervous. But it was easy to order, confirmation received immediately and the driver contacted us by WhatsApp after confirmation. He also contacted about 10 minutes before pick-up to tell he is coming. Great service! The car was fresh and clean and the driver was very polite. We warmly recommend Kiwitaxi!

Decided quite late to leave the cruise ship and take the option of an o’night stay in Bangkok. Checked out a few transport options and settled on Kiwitaxi and we’re glad we did. Seamless booking, kept in contact, leading up to pick up, very pleasant, safe and efficient driver, very little English (and our Thai is non-existent) but he had all the information. The car was late model and very clean. We’re using the company again for our return trip - so far, seamless process. Highly recommend..

How to Get to Pamporovo
A Bulgarian town of Pamporovo is Europe’s southernmost and warmest mountain ski resort. A lot of winter sports lovers visit the town every year. For people planning their travel to Pamporovo from Sofia or the city’s airport, we prepared several tips on transportation to the resort by public transport, taxi, and private transfer.
Taxi to Pamporovo
At the air hub, taxi drivers are usually waiting for clients outside the arrivals hall. There may be queues, so be ready to spend certain time standing in the line. A taxi price may be either flat or meter-based. Take care to agree on a fixed price or make sure a driver turns the meter on. A taxi trip from Sofia Airport to Pamporovo costs 95-120 euros (night tariffs are usually higher) and takes almost 3 hours. Getting from Sofia will cost 100-120 euros, taking about 3 hours. If you prefer faster traveling, consider an option of a private transfer.
Transfer to Pamporovo
With pre-booked individual transportation, you’ll set off for the resort as soon as you are ready to go – your driver will already be waiting for you at the agreed time at the pick-up point.
You may reserve a Kiwitaxi transfer several weeks beforehand – at home, when mapping out your holidays. Booking is simple: just fill in the online form with pick-up and drop-off points, departure time, and a number of passengers. If traveling with small children, remember to order child seats for them. Getting from Sofia air hub by transfer to the resort costs from 108 euros and takes 2 hours and 50 minutes. All transfer fares are fixed and known in advance – they correspond to offered car classes. At Kiwitaxi, you may pay for a transfer by credit card when placing an order, or after arriving at the destination, in this case you’ll need to prepare cash.
With Kiwitaxi, you’ll be timely picked up by a transfer driver and comfortably get to the resort. You’ll enjoy a smooth and professional ride in a preferred class car and won’t feel tired.
Public Transport to Pamporovo
The fastest way to reach Pamporovo from the air hub is to go by bus through Plovdiv. Firstly, you’ll need to get to the city district Malashevtsi by number 90. Then you’ll have to walk for about 2,5 km to the central station to catch a bus to Plovdiv, and there you should change a carriage to one going to the resort. This travel will cost just 7-12 euros per person, the travel time will make 5,5 hours.
Also, keep in mind, that local public transport is unavailable at night. Fortunately, there are still options of taxi and transfer.
About Pamporovo
The resort with its gradual slopes is especially good for skiing newcomers. At the same time, there are longer and trickier pistes.
FAQ
How do I find and book a transfer?
Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.
Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.
How far in advance should I book a transfer?
Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.
If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.
If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.
If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.
How do I know if my booking has gone through?
After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
How can I find my driver?
Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.
If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.
If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.
Meet-up instructions are given in the voucher confirming your booking.
