Yellow markings on the floor will help you find the taxi stand — there, you will recognize licensed cabs by their bright yellow color. All those cars are equipped with a taximeter.

The average taxi fare from the airport to Pamporovo is 200 BGN or 102.30 euros.

Bear in mind that taxi tariffs increase at night hours. If you get stuck in a traffic jam, the taximeter will keep running. Also, note that it may be difficult to find a large taxi if you travel with a group, as local cabs are mainly 4-seater ones. Public Transport from Sofia Airport to Pamporovo

There is no direct public transport connection between the air hub and the resort. This is how you can reach your destination:

1. Near Terminal 2, take the metro line 1 to Sofia. The trip costs 1.6 BGN or 0.80€ (+1.6 BGN for baggage) and takes 18 minutes. You’ll need to change lines at Serdica station and then travel to Central railway station. Note that the metro doesn’t operate at night.

2. Walk to Central bus station (it is next to Central railway station) and take the bus to Pamporovo from there. The journey costs 22 BGN (11.30€) and takes around 4 hours. There are only five departures a day — the last one is at 18:00.

If you have lots of bags or large ski equipment, using public transport may be very uncomfortable.
