The driver showed up on time, kindly loaded my luggage into the vehicle and unloaded it onto a cart for me once I got to the airport. He was very kind and we got to the airport so quickly (usually it takes forever) that the check in desk wasn’t even open yet😂

Title: An Unforgettable Driver – More Than a Taxi Service, True Human Kindness! I am an 80-year-old traveler from South Korea, currently enjoying a solo backpacking journey around the world. Today, I experienced something truly unforgettable with Kiwitaxi. 1. A driver who never abandoned his passenger We arrived at the exact address of my accommodation, but unfortunately, I encountered serious problems with the property, which I believe had misrepresented its accommodation. As I struggled to find the correct place, we had to move from one location to another several times. Even though the driver did not fully understand what was happening, he never complained, never showed frustration, and never abandoned me. Instead, he patiently stayed by my side, carried my backpack, and continued helping me until the very end. At that moment, he was no longer just a taxi driver. He felt like a trusted friend in a foreign country. 2. The first time in my life I gave tips twice! I must confess something rather funny. I am well known among my friends and family for being extremely careful with money! Normally, I give tips only when I feel obligated to. But today was different. For the first time in my 80 years of life, I gave a tip out of genuine gratitude — and then gave another one because I was so deeply touched by the driver's kindness. Yes, twice! For someone as frugal as me, that is almost a miracle! 3. Thoughtful service during a long journey During the long drive, the driver thoughtfully played music suited to my taste so that I would not feel bored. It was a small gesture, but it revealed his genuine care for his passenger's comfort. 4. Kiwitaxi deserves international recognition I have traveled to many countries, but this experience stands out as one of the most heartwarming examples of customer service I have ever received. If Kiwitaxi expands its services into South Korea, I sincerely believe it could become very successful. Excellent service! As a solo traveler with limited language skills, I was very impressed by the clear name sign, which made it extremely easy to find my driver. On previous trips, I often had trouble finding drivers booked through hotels or travel agencies, so this service gave me great peace of mind. The driver welcomed me with a warm smile even around midnight. I already have four more Kiwitaxi transfers booked and now look forward to them without any worries. Booking process was fast transparent, and at a good price. Driver picked us up from the hotel Crowne Plaza Limassol. There was a Pan-Cypris Marathon and some roads were closed for the cars, so driver informed us in advance that there might be some pick up delays. But there weren't . The vehicle has exceeded my expectations! Same nice car , same nice driver as from Airport to Hotel, now from Hotel to Airport!

We had an excellent experience with kiwitaxi booking a ride from a river boat excursion in Passau to the Munich airport. We didn’t provide a ton of notice, but the service was highly responsive via email and WhatsApp when we corresponded with the driver. Quote was provided quickly up front and items such as fees for an extra drop off, which we needed, were communicated clearly in advance. Driver was responsive, accommodated an earlier pick up that we requested, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. I would recommend kiwitaxi based on this favourable experience.

If you still do not know what "Gangnam Style" is, go to South Korea, because Gangnam is a prestigious district in Seoul, the capital of the country, which is full of luxury boutiques and designer skyscrapers. If you prefer walking in historical places, you can visit five palace complexes, built 500 years ago. One of the most unusual tourist destinations is the demilitarized zone of Korea in the village of Panmunjom. This uninhabited village divides the previously united country into two states. Here you can also visit the House of Freedom, from where you can see North Korean land through binoculars. The coast of the Yellow Sea is full of numerous resorts, the main of which is the seaport of Busan.
In order to get to the airport or hotel in South Korea, you can use bus service, metro, taxi or transfer. Taxi service in South Korea is one of the most convenient in the world, while not quite expensive as well. Official taxis in the country can be of different types:
- Ordinary taxis. Taxicabs can be of various colors, but white, silver and orange one are more common than others. The night tariff in these taxis is 20% more expensive.
- Taxicabs with inscriptions Kind Call Taxi and KT Powertel They are equipped with devices for simultaneous translation of the driver's speech, it features lots of languages including English.
- Luxury Taxi Black taxicabs with the Deluxe taxi sign. They have a high-quality service and a spacious interior. It has no night tariff.
- Multi-seater taxis. 10-passenger vehicles. Especially suitable for tourists with a big amount of luggage or for those traveling with a large group.
- International taxi. The name, International Taxi, is written right on these taxicabs. Drivers speak English, Japanese, and Chinese. You can order it at the company's counter in the airport.
In South Korea, you can order a taxi by phone (you have to pay for this option), through the mobile app, hail it on the street or find it at a special stop. A vacant taxicab can be distinguished by a yellow or red light or a red inscription in Korean on the roof. It is difficult to find a vacant car in the evening or at night. In every official taxi, you can pay not only with a bank card but also with a public transport card. Note, that in the suburban area the cost of the trip is doubled. Do not use the services of private taxi drivers in Korea: they can demand a higher price, go in circles around the city and drive you to the wrong destination.

How do I book a transfer in South Korea?
Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.

How far in advance should I book a transfer in South Korea?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to South Korea is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to South Korea arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.
Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.
How do I find my driver before my transfer in South Korea?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
