Excellent service with a clean comfortable car. Pleasant, courtious and safe driver with very good communication skills. My ride was over 2 hours long. My driver, Vicky, waited for my extended immigration process at the airport and navigated safely around a recent serious multi-car accident scene all through rainy conditions at night. The door to door personalized service is excellent.

How to Get to Vysoke Tatry
Vysoke Tatry is a town situated at the feet of the High Tatra Mountains in northern Slovakia. It’s located at an altitude of 1,000 m above sea level and includes 15 small villages. This place is one of the most popular ski destinations in the country. One can reach the resort by public transportation or using taxi cabs or individual transfers.
Taxi to Vysoke Tatry
Plenty of travelers are going to Vysoke Tatry from air hubs. To reach the resort fast and with comfort, they choose taxi cabs. For instance, at Bratislava Airport (350 km), they take cars at the stands in front of the terminal or book them by calling the air hub’s partner taxi companies. Also, cabs are reserved through some online services. On average, a taxi trip to the resort costs €330 and takes around 4 hours. However, if you’re planning to take a cab on the spot, be ready for some difficulties. First, not all local taxi drivers will speak English. Second, some of them will refuse to take such a long-distance ride.
Transfer to Vysoke Tatry
Pre-ordering a private transfer will be a great option in case you want to avoid all the difficulties mentioned above. You won’t have to deal with the local language, as the Kiwitaxi website is available in English. Also, there is the English-speaking support which is always ready to help you with your transfer. You can book a trip to Vysoke Tatry from one of the several airports. For instance, the price for a transfer from Bratislava air hub (Economy-class) is €333. In case you’re going to the resort with your small children, don’t forget to add child seats to your transfer order. All our transfer drivers are highly-professional. Besides, if you need a return transfer from Vysoke Tatry, you can book it right away on the website. The prices for the transfer are fixed and will not change after the booking is made.
Public Transport to Vysoke Tatry
Catching public transport will be the best option for budget travelers. However, it will also be the longest one. If you’re heading from Bratislava Airport, be ready for two changes. First, take a bus to the capital (the fare is around €1.5; 25 minutes). Then, in the city, take a bus to the town of Poprad (€18-25; 6 hours). Finally, in Poprad, catch a train to the exact location in Vysoke Tatry (for instance, getting to Strbske Pleso will cost €3-6 and will take about 1 hour).
Note that some of these services run at large intervals. Also, they’re not available at night hours. If you don’t want to wait or need to reach the resort at night, the best option for you will be booking a transfer or a taxi.

How do I find and book a transfer?
Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.
Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.
How far in advance should I book a transfer?
Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.
If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.
If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.
If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.
How do I know if my booking has gone through?
After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
How can I find my driver?
Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.
If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.
If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.
Meet-up instructions are given in the voucher confirming your booking.
