I booked an airport transfer from the airport to my hotel and back, and both rides were wonderful. Each time the driver arrived right on time and met me with a name sign, which made everything easy and completely stress-free. The drivers were polite, friendly, and very welcoming. Both rides we booked with KIWI taxi were as expected. Drivers were considered and cacreful drivers, on time and helpful with luggage. I forgot my handbag in the car at the ride from Klaeng to Bangkok. I need a special medicine which was in that handbag. Immidiately I contacted Kiwi by phone as well via chat via website. The responsible local manager and Anne Woods at chat were absolutely of help! It did not take a full hour and the driver brought my handback to the hotel. So even in case of an emergency this company is of help and did immidiately all needed to help me. I cannot stress how thankful I am and without any hesitation I recommend this company!

The taxi system in Latvia is well-developed. There are no private drivers in the country, and all cars are official. They are required to have checkers on their roofs, a company emblem and the name of the city on their doors, as well as yellow license plates. There is no common tariff in the country. At nighttime, prices increase. The payment is made strictly according to a meter. However, a driver may cheat and use a night tariff at daytime or take a longer route. A taxi in Latvia can be ordered by phone or online. Also, you will find a car at special ranks or in crowded places. How do I book a transfer in Latvia?
Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.
Then, click on the “View Prices” button. Select the required transfer class and click "Book" to continue with the booking.
How far in advance should I book a transfer in Latvia?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Latvia is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Latvia arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.

How do I find my driver before my transfer in Latvia?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
