I was pleasantly surprised that my return ride was GREAT. I had some problems with my first ride from the Istanbul Airport into town and had planned to also handle the return trip with Kiwitaxi. How do I book a transfer in Jordan?

Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Jordan?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.

What should I do if my flight to Jordan is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

What should I do if my flight to Jordan arrives early?

Jordan is a unique country where biblical events become real. Here you will find the ruins of the infamous Sodom and Gomorrah, Mount Nebo, where Moses had his last look on the Promised Land before his death, and, finally, there is the sacred river Jordan, in which Jesus Christ was baptized. In Amman, the capital city of the country, the famous Qumran scrolls, biblical manuscripts found on the shores of the Dead Sea and created before our era, are kept. In Jordan, you can visit one of the new wonders of the world - the ancient city of Petra, carved into the rocks. Here one of the famous Indiana Jones movies was made. If you want a beach holiday you should definitely visit the city of Aqaba located on the shores of the Red Sea.

There are three popular traveling options in Jordan: buses, taxis, and transfers. Taxi in Jordan is quite cheap, and it's easy to find. You can order it by phone, through the app, hail it, or find it on special parking lots. The latter is not recommended for tourists, as private taxi drivers can demand a very high price from a newcomer. They usually use these proven techniques: threats to drop you off in a deserted area or not to open the trunk with a suitcase until the required amount is paid; or assurances that the price was named per a person, not for a car.

All taxis in Jordan are yellow. White ones, so-called "servIs", work in the format of small shuttle buses. Taxi meters are used only in Amman, and in other cities, it is acceptable to negotiate the price and bargain. Note that after midnight, the driver does not have to turn on a taximeter, and in this case, the price of the trip can double. In order to go to another city, the driver will need a special permit, which is paid by the passenger. Jordanians do not remember the names of streets and orientate themselves in the city according to some landmark places, so the tourist will have to do the same. If you do not know the language, write the name of the landmark or hotel on a piece of paper.
