Decided quite late to leave the cruise ship and take the option of an o’night stay in Bangkok. Checked out a few transport options and settled on Kiwitaxi and we’re glad we did. Seamless booking, kept in contact, leading up to pick up, very pleasant, safe and efficient driver, very little English (and our Thai is non-existent) but he had all the information. The car was late model and very clean. We’re using the company again for our return trip - so far, seamless process. Highly recommend..

The booking was easy and choices of cars were great. Driver came early and I’ve seen him do final preparations for the car before sending us a message that he has arrived. Gentleman, dressed nicely, took our luggage in the car and closed our doors. The car was clean, driving was nice and we came with no issues or delays. There was even an accident on the road to which he took another route and saved us some time. 10/10 would recommend.

How to Get to Meribel-Mottaret
Situated in the French Alps not far from Courchevel, the village of Meribel-Mottaret is a mountain ski resort purposely built as a skiing area in the 70s. In this article, you’ll find information on how to get to the village from Geneva Airport and other nearby places by taxi, public transport, and private transfer.
Taxi to Meribel-Mottaret
It’s easy to hire a cab in Geneva air hub. After passing the customs and claiming your luggage, walk outside the arrivals hall to find airport taxi ranks. There are several services with different prices and tariffs offered, flat and meter-based. Knowing approximate fares, you’ll orientate yourself more confidently in offered prices. On average, a taxi drive from Geneva air hub to the Meribel-Mottaret costs 250-270 euros, taking 2,5 hours. A trip from Grenoble costs about 200 euros and takes 2 hours. Take into account that night tariffs are usually higher.
Transfer to Meribel-Mottaret
You can make your travel more predictable by pre-ordering a private transfer. The idea is simple: you book a trip from one place to another one in advance to receive a high-quality professional door-to-door service for a needed date and time.
You may reserve a Kiwitaxi transfer in several clicks on the official website. You should specify pick-up and drop-off places, departure time, and a number of passengers in your transfer booking. Parents traveling with small children should also order child seats. Fares are fixed and known beforehand – they depend on a vehicle class you choose (from economy to a minibus). Thus, a 2,5-hour transfer from Geneva air terminal to the resort costs from 300 euros. Payment can be made via the internet by a credit card. Also, you may pay to a driver after reaching Meribel-Mottaret, in this case, prepare cash.
You’ll be met in the airport’s arrivals area by a polite transfer driver and comfortably brought to the destination point. Kiwitaxi hires only licensed experienced transfer drivers and operated cars under 7 years old.
Public Transport to Meribel-Mottaret
At Geneva air hub, you may take a bus to the town of Moutiers, then change there to number T4 going to Meribel-Mottaret. You’ll spend around 3,5 hours and 25-88 euros per ticket for this travel. Departing from Grenoble, you may reach Moutiers through Montmelian by rail, then you’ll need to catch a bus from Moutiers to the resort. This trip will cost 37-52 euros per person and take around 4 hours of time.
Public transport operates only at daytime, while at night, only taxi and transfer options are available.
About Meribel-Mottaret
The resort village is mostly car-free and much of its accommodation is ski-in and ski-out. Also, there are a lot of shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and bars.

How do I find and book a transfer?
Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.
Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.
How far in advance should I book a transfer?
Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.
If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.
If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.
If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.
How do I know if my booking has gone through?
After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
How can I find my driver?
Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.
If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.
If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.
Meet-up instructions are given in the voucher confirming your booking.
