It seems that Denmark can not offer tourists anything interesting comparing to its Scandinavian neighbors. But remember that this country brought us one of the greatest storytellers - Hans Christian Andersen! Taxi in Denmark is a highly comfortable and convenient way of traveling, but it is very expensive as well. You can either book it by phone, hail it, or find it on large parking lots. An unoccupied vacant taxi has a “Fri” sign. The popular Uber application in Denmark is prohibited. All taxis in Denmark are equipped with taximeters, and the cost is calculated strictly according to them. The cost of the trip is calculated by a complex scheme, which takes into account both the travel time and the distance to the destination. The cost of the trip rises at night, on weekends and holidays. The driver can ask for additional payment for help with luggage. Many vehicles have terminals for bank cards. When ordering a taxi in advance clients usually get business-class cars or, sometimes, minivans. Taxi drivers usually speak English. Please note that the country has a lot of traffic, so it is better to order a taxi in advance.
However, if you use a Kiwitaxi transfer in Denmark, you will not have to waste your time trying to find a taxi. How do I book a transfer in Denmark?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Denmark?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Denmark is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Denmark arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.
Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.
How do I find my driver before my transfer in Denmark?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
