I booked an airport transfer from the airport to my hotel and back, and both rides were wonderful. Each time the driver arrived right on time and met me with a name sign, which made everything easy and completely stress-free. The drivers were polite, friendly, and very welcoming. Both rides we booked with KIWI taxi were as expected. Drivers were considered and cacreful drivers, on time and helpful with luggage. I forgot my handbag in the car at the ride from Klaeng to Bangkok. I need a special medicine which was in that handbag. Immidiately I contacted Kiwi by phone as well via chat via website. The responsible local manager and Anne Woods at chat were absolutely of help! It did not take a full hour and the driver brought my handback to the hotel. So even in case of an emergency this company is of help and did immidiately all needed to help me. I cannot stress how thankful I am and without any hesitation I recommend this company!

Very friendly driver that took us from BKK airport to Trat very smooth and comfortable. We were two and got plenty of room in the car. Driver spoke no english but we used Google Translate to communicate with each other. I would definitely use Kiwi taxi again and the same driver if I could choose.

Transfer in Ukraine
Speaking about Ukraine, it’s difficult to decide where to start, as the history of this country is very rich. The main cities are Kiev, Lviv, and Odessa. A tourist “must see” in Kiev is Khreshchatyk that turns into the fully pedestrian street on weekends. Many architectural landmarks and sights of the city are located here. In Odessa, the main pedestrian street is Deribasovskaya. Lviv is the most “western” Ukrainian city so in the Soviet cinema its streets often used to depict the medieval Europe.
You can use public transport to get around, but buses in Ukraine are not very comfortable, and, as for trains, you often have to adjust yourself to the their schedules. In case you have a lot of luggage, or are travelling with children, it is better to order a cab.
If you need a taxi in Ukraine, you can order it by phone as well as through mobile apps, or find one in the special car parks, that are usually situated near big hotels. Be aware that 80-90% of taxis work illegally without a special permit. That means you cannot be sure whether the driver has had a medical examination and whether his car has passed technical inspection. It will be necessary for taxis in the future to have yellow car numbers that are not possible to get without a license for passenger transport.
The taxi cost calculation system in Ukraine is rather difficult. Both distance and waiting time are taken into account. Many taxi companies take additional fees for the pre-order, air conditioning or meeting at the airport in Ukraine. There is a price increase if the weather is bad or if there are many taxi requests.

How do I book a transfer in Ukraine?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Ukraine?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Ukraine is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Ukraine arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.
Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.
How do I find my driver before my transfer in Ukraine?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
