I was pleasantly surprised that my return ride was GREAT. I had some problems with my first ride from the Istanbul Airport into town and had planned to also handle the return trip with Kiwitaxi. This drive and this trip was very good. How do I book a transfer in Saint Lucia?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Saint Lucia?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.

What should I do if my flight to Saint Lucia is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

What should I do if my flight to Saint Lucia arrives early?

If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.

How do I find my driver before my transfer in Saint Lucia?

Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.

For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.

For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.

Transfer in Saint Lucia 

St. Lucia is an exotic island state, which does not need to make any effort to attract tourists because Nature has done everything itself. The Caribbean Sea on one side of the island and the Atlantic Ocean on the other created an endless stretch of 1100 km long beaches. A unique underwater world with pink coral reefs has become a sort of Mecca for divers. Constant light winds turned Saint Lucia into an excellent place for yachting and windsurfing. In addition to beaches, it is also worth seeing beautiful national parks: Pigeon Island, Frigate Island, and Maria Islands Nature Reserve. The 17-meter high Diamond Waterfall near the town of Soufriere, banana and coconut plantations, and sulfur springs are some other interesting places a tourist can visit. The north and west coast of Saint Lucia resemble the Mediterranean Riviera with its fashionable hotels and well-equipped beaches.  

The main type of public transportation on the island is minibuses.  Fortunately, drivers here do not tend to deceive tourists; however, you have to forget about such thing as schedule: buses depart as soon as the vehicle is filled or at the request of the driver. Most locals in St. Lucia speak patois, the dialect of the French language, so there will most likely be problems with understanding. By the way, out of 1210 km of motor roads, only 63 km are covered with asphalt. Therefore, the trip in an old minibus will hardly be pleasant. In addition, public transport usually does not work on Sundays. Taxi on the island is quite expensive. As in case of minibuses, not all drivers speak English, so explaining where to go and negotiating the price will not be easy.  

If you want to get from the airport to the hotel with maximum comfort, book a trip and pay for it in advance, choose the Kiwitaxi service. The roads on the island go mainly along mountain serpentines: if you get sick on the way, the transfer driver will always slow down or stop.
