I was pleasantly surprised that my return ride was GREAT. I had some problems with my first ride from the Istanbul Airport into town and had planned to also handle the return trip with Kiwitaxi. This drive and this trip was very good. How do I book a transfer in Qatar?

Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.

Then, click on the “View Prices” button. Select the required transfer class and click "Book" to continue with the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Qatar?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.

What should I do if my flight to Qatar is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

What should I do if my flight to Qatar arrives early?

If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.

How do I find my driver before my transfer in Qatar?

For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.

Qatar is the richest country in the world. Like many other Arab states, it became rich after the discovery of oil deposits there. However, if you want to see the life of local residents before the "golden" era, you can only do it in the Ethnographic Museum of Qatar in the capital city of Doha. The nearest public beach is 60 km away from this city. There you can swim in the waters of the Persian Gulf. 100 km away from Doha there is an abandoned city of Al-Zubar. In the old days, it flourished due to pearl fishing, and now it is an important archaeological site. 

Public transport is traditionally poorly developed in Qatar and it is represented only by buses that do not adhere to a certain timetable. Therefore, tourists are advised to travel around the country by taxi. This service is quite cheap due to low prices for gasoline. However, there are some important nuances. The vast majority of taxi drivers are immigrants, mainly from Bangladesh. They have a poor knowledge of routes and roads and they almost do not understand English. Even if the car is equipped with a taximeter, local drivers prefer to negotiate the price. This must be done before departure. 

You can order a taxi by phone, via a mobile app, or find it in parking lots near hotels. Hailing cars on the street is problematic. From 21:00 to 05:00 taxis have an increased night rate.
