How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Meet-up instructions are given in the voucher confirming your booking.

Transfer in Mongolia

Mongolia is a country in Eastern Asia which shares borders with Russia and China, as well as the homeland of the great military leader Genghis Khan. Despite stereotypes, this country has not only endless steppes but also sand dunes of the Gobi Desert and snow-covered peaks of the Altai Mountains. In its capital, Ulaanbaatar, the old Gandantegchinlen Monastery stands near Soviet blocks of flats and European shopping malls. In rural areas, people still prefer yurts to flats, so you may easily stay in this cozy housing.

A taxi in Mongolia can be ordered by phone or via the mobile app. However, apps here are only in Mongolian. Also, you may catch a car right on the street. But note that it will be more difficult to find a vehicle in the evening. It is better to know English, otherwise, it will be hard for you to communicate with the driver. Meanwhile, there is a very confusing arrangement of houses in Ulaanbaatar, and, moreover, there are no exact addresses here — only the street numbers. Even locals sometimes cannot find the place they need. It is better to take a map and mark the necessary address on it. Drivers in this country don’t use meters, yet there is no need to negotiate the price. The thing is that a payment is made only per kilometer — according to an odometer. The fare is very low, however, it may be inflated for tourists. Even drivers working for online services manage to deceive travelers. For example, they don’t turn on the app when a passenger gets into a car, and then tell a random price at the end of the trip.

Yellow-colored taxis work according to meters. There are often traffic jams in Ulaanbaatar — note this when calling a car.

Another means of transport one can choose to travel in Mongolia is local buses, but this is not the fastest and most convenient one.
