Excellent service with a clean comfortable car. Pleasant, courtious and safe driver with very good communication skills. My ride was over 2 hours long. My driver, Vicky, waited for my extended immigration process at the airport and navigated safely around a recent serious multi-car accident scene all through rainy conditions at night. The door to door personalized service is excellent.

How to Get to Druskininkai
Druskininkai is a small charming town located in the southern part of Lithuania, on the right bank of the Neman River. Situated close to the borders of Poland and Belarus, this town is the most popular resort in the country. Travelers reach this place via larger nearby locations. To get to their final destination, they use public transportation, private transfers, and taxis.
Taxi to Druskininkai
If you want to take a taxi from one of the nearby airports, you may find them at the ranks near the terminals. On average, a cab trip to Druskininkai from the nearest international airport in Vilnius costs 65 euros (for a standard sedan car). The average taxi fare from Kaunas air hub is 80 euros and from Riga one - 200 euros. Please be careful when dealing with private drivers as some of them can easily overcharge you. Also, if you’re traveling in winter and have large ski equipment with you, it might be difficult to find a spacious taxi on the spot.
Transfer to Druskininkai
If you’re looking for a fast and safe way to reach Druskininkai, a private transfer might be a great option for you. Booking it, you will know the final ride cost in advance: once your order is completed, the price will remain fixed and will never increase. The price for an Economy-class taxi transfer to the resort from Vilnius Airport is 84 euros, from Kaunas one - 117 euros, and from Riga one - 276 euros. When your flight arrives, the Kiwitaxi driver will already be waiting for you inside the terminal with a name sign in his/her hands. All our transfer drivers are highly-professional, experienced, and polite, so you will definitely enjoy a ride with them.

Public Transportation to Druskininkai
To get to Druskininkai from Vilnius air hub, one may use the regular bus service. The trip will take 2,5-3 hours and will require one change. The approximate fare is 13-14 euros.
Buses can also take you to the town from Kaunas (10 to 18 euros) and Riga (30 to 38 euros).
Bear in mind that bus services aren’t usually available at night hours. Some of them may stop running even in the evening, so always check the timetables beforehand. If you’re heading to the town after midnight, it’s better to pre-arrange a taxi or a transfer.
Useful Information
One of the most popular places in Druskininkai is an indoor ski center called Snow Arena. This is the only ski complex in the Baltic states in which one can enjoy skiing all year round.

How do I find and book a transfer?
Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?
Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.
If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.
If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.
If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.
How do I know if my booking has gone through?
After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.
If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.
What should I do if my flight is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
How can I find my driver?
Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.
If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.
If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.
Meet-up instructions are given in the voucher confirming your booking.
