Kiwi Taxi has been a pleasure to work with. They accommodated our changing the pick up time in both picking us up and dropping us back off at the port the next day, They waited as we disembarked our cruise ship, where our overnight bags were put in the van for us and we were given water bottles. The van was luxurious and roomy, so the 2 1/2 hour drive was very comfortable. I will definitely use them again when I’m traveling.

The trip went perfectly: the driver was waiting with a sign right at the exit and stayed in touch with us when our flight was delayed. He dropped us off right at the doorstep of our address in Castellammare di Stabia. The service deserves high praise. Kiwi Taxi has been a pleasure to work with. Kenya is a country in East Africa, the cradle of mankind. Tools and human remains, which are nearly 3 million years old, were found here, on the shores of Lake Rudolph. Taxis in the usual sense of the word, that is, cars, can only be found in the big cities of Kenya, Nairobi, and Mombasa. In remote regions, moto taxi (boda-boda) is way more popular. You can easily distinguish official taxi by a bright yellow stripe on the vehicle. You can either book it by phone, or find it near big hotels. It can also be booked through the mobile app. We do not recommend hailing a taxi that does not have identification marks (yellow stripes) because you can run into a scammer, some drivers even rob their passengers. In most cases, cabs are not equipped with taximeters, so it is better to negotiate the cost of the trip in advance. In general, transportation services in this country are very cheap. At night, tourists in Kenya are strongly recommended to use a taxi.

How do I book a transfer in Kenya?
Enter the departure location in the “From” field and the destination in the “To” field. You can enter the name of the place or specify the exact address. The drop-down suggestions will make the search faster and easier.
Then, click on the “View Prices” button. Select the required transfer class and click "Book" to continue with the booking.
How far in advance should I book a transfer in Kenya?
The timing depends on the vehicle class.
Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.
If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What should I do if my flight to Kenya is delayed?
As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
What should I do if my flight to Kenya arrives early?
If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.
You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.
Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.
How do I find my driver before my transfer in Kenya?
Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.
For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
