How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Kazakhstan is globally known for the Baikonur cosmodrome. The world's first artificial satellite and the first manned flight into space were launched here. The main cities of Kazakhstan are the former and current capitals, Almaty and Astana. In Astana, we advise you to visit the complex "Atameken", which is a huge mock-up map of the state under the open sky. The most interesting place in Almaty is a unique wooden structure built without a single nail - the Cathedral of Zenkov. There is also one unexpected place in Kazakhstan - a small town of Petropavlovsk, which used to be Russian. It is located on the way to Novosibirsk, so unprepared auto travelers can face a lot of problems because here they will have to cross the border with all the related formalities.

In Kazakhstan, you can order a taxi by phone, through the mobile app, or hail it on the street. Official taxi is hard to distinguish from a private one: neither of them may have any identifying signs and taxi meters. Therefore, we recommend that you do not hail a taxi. Moreover, the Kazakhstan government passed a law according to which citizens who are caught using illegal taxi service are momentarily returned to the place where they got into the taxi. Even if you are not caught, it's rather dangerous to travel with private taxi drivers. Nobody makes sure whether such drivers pass a medical examination and take drug tests, and whether they get their vehicles maintained regularly. How much does a taxi in Kazakhstan cost? Taxi fare is not fixed by the government, so prices may differ. Private taxi drivers tend to offer lower prices.

One of the most popular taxi routes in the country goes to the Kazakhstan border and back. The thing is that crossing the Russian border automatically increases the period of the authorized stay by 90 days. For the same purpose taxi to and from Kazakhstan is popular with residents of neighboring countries: Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan. In fact, this is a whole separate business, and if you need a taxi for an intercity travel, keep in mind that not all drivers agree to this.
