I would like to thank again here to Lina, the lovely person who took care of this ride update, and everything related. The initial driver, by hearing there will be an extra passenger required 15 euro cash, saying he will not drive my manager to the airport unless we are willing to pay. I asked Lina to allocate me a new driver; Aleksandr (the new driver) was a remarkable driver, coming even earlier to pick my manager from the hotel and the other passenger. Lina ensured me there will be no extra payment. The driver kept close by whatsapp saying what car and registration number my manager should look for, when exiting the hotel to go the airport! Exquisite services! Thank you!

We made a last minute reservation for airport transport, which made us nervous. But it was easy to order, confirmation received immediately and the driver contacted us by WhatsApp after confirmation. If you wish to admire futuristic landscapes of the capital, you should definitely visit the Victoria Peak, the highest point of the island.

It is convenient and safe to use taxi services in Hong Kong. All vehicles are no more than seven years old and all of them have air conditioning. Even disabled people can use taxi here as there are specially equipped cars for them. Taxis can be red, green and blue. Red ones operate in Hong Kong, blue on the Lantau Island, and green in the New Territories region. A taxi of any color can take you to Disneyland and the airport. You can also hail a taxi, but not anywhere. It is better to wait for it in a special parking lot. Be careful: taxis from some parking lots follow only a certain route.

The price of any taxi trip is calculated according to the taximeter, while prices can differ in different regions of Hong Kong. Bank cards are not accepted. The calculation is made according to a rather complicated scheme. It takes into account both the distance to the needed destination and the travel time. Baggage is charged additionally. Passage through some tunnels is also paid. The list of such tunnels can be found in the taxi. A taxi trip to or from the airport in Hong Kong has a fixed price. You can order a taxi by phone, but you will have to pay for that as well. That is why it is difficult to answer the question^ "How much does a taxi in this place cost?"

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Hong Kong?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.

What should I do if my flight to Hong Kong is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number provided to you, contacting Customer Support via e-mail at support@kiwitaxi.com, by using the online chat on our website, or by calling +442080682801.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

What should I do if my flight to Hong Kong arrives early?

If your flight arrives early, your driver may not be at the meeting point with a nameplate yet. Please wait for the driver at the meeting point indicated on the voucher.

You can also contact the driver by phone or SMS to speed up your meeting at the airport.

Important note: If possible, do not leave the airport with a local taxi service, as we will not be able to refund you.

How do I find my driver before my transfer in Hong Kong?

Important note: Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking.

For airport transfers, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas.

For hotel transfers, the driver will wait in the lobby.
