I was pleasantly surprised that my return ride was GREAT. I had some problems with my first ride from the Istanbul Airport into town and had planned to also handle the return trip with Kiwitaxi. This drive and this trip was very good. How do I book a transfer in Bosnia?

How far in advance should I book a transfer in Bosnia?

The timing depends on the vehicle class.

Premium class vehicles or Minibus for 10, 13, 16 or 19 pax should be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Standard vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax) should be booked at least 16 hours prior to your trip.

In 2013, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former part of Yugoslavia, was recognized as one of the most welcoming countries for tourists. This is a typical mountainous country, and its largest ski resorts including Belashnitsa, Jahorina, and Igman are gradually regaining their prestige lost during the war. On the Adriatic coast of the country, tourists can visit the popular resort of Neum with pebble beaches and the clearest sea. Sarajevo, the capital city of the country, has lots of architectural monuments that reflect various periods in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Here you can see the Royal Mosque of the Ottoman Empire, and the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus built during the Austro-Hungarian period and the sports facilities of the 1984 Olympics that were heavily damaged during the war of 1992-1995.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, you can either order an official taxi by phone or find it in the parking lot. There, cabs line up one after another and you have to choose the one which is the first to go.
