Who’s that resort for?
The ski resort is located 160 km from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Bansko is a suitable resort for beginners and intermediate skiers. But extreme skiers will be bored: there are only two black slopes.
Why should you go there?
There are cheap accommodation, food and ski-passes. Many instructors speak English. Because of the mountains around the resort, there is a stable snow cover on the slope. Hot springs will be a bonus to the vacation.
How long is the ski season?
The official ski season in Bansko lasts from December to April. That’s not always the case. Anyway, you‘ll have time to enjoy skiing and not just this.
