How to Get from Mui Ne to the Airport and Other Destinations
You can take a taxi, public transport or transfer to get from Mui Ne to Nha Trang, Phan Thiet or Ho Chi Minh City, as well as to Cam Ranh and Tan Son Nhat Airports located in these cities.
Taxi from Mui Ne
Many people prefer using taxi services during holidays. Travelling by this type of transport in Vietnam is relatively inexpensive: a standard trip will cost you about 5-6 dollars. At the same time, the price of one kilometer on the way will be about 50 cents.
Many taxis in Mui Ne are equipped with taximeters, however, it is better to negotiate the price of the trip in advance, so that there are no misunderstandings after arrival at the destination.
A car in the city can be ordered by phone or simply caught in the street. If you decide to choose the first option, it is better to purchase a SIM card from one of the main Vietnamese operators - VinaPhone, Viettel or MobiFone, so the call will cost you much cheaper.
Most taxis in Mui Ne are new, almost all of them are equipped with air conditioning and other amenities for a comfortable trip. You also should not have problems with communication with drivers: many of them speak English.
In Mui Ne city center, you can also take a motor taxi, the fare will be about 2-3 dollars. The motorcycle will reach the destination much faster than the car, but the comfort is not as high as in the car.
Transfer from Mui Ne
Are you still thinking how to get to or from Mui Ne to other places in Vietnam? Then order a transfer. Kiwitaxi service will help you get to the place where you decided to stay, without changes and with maximum comfort.
For the transportation of passengers, we choose only new cars which are no older than seven years. All of them are equipped with air conditioning and comfortable seats. For a comfortable and safe trip with children, you can order special child seats.
A transfer will take you from Mui Ne to Nha Trang in just 4 hours and 5 minutes, and it will cost you at least 99 dollars. You can get to Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat Airport in 4 hours 10 minutes, the cost of an Economy class car will be about 87 dollars, and a minibus for 10 people — 123 dollars.
It is better to book Kiwitaxi service in advance. So you will be sure that the car comes for you at the specified time and you will not be late for the flight.
If you don't want to worry about money exchange, you can immediately pay the entire cost of the trip online.
Public transport from Mui Ne
You can also reach the airports of Tan Son Nhat or Cam Ranh from Mui Ne by bus. Ho Chi Minh City Airport is about half an hour drive from the Mui Ne bus station. Long distance buses also run from here 15 times a day, the journey time will be approximately 4-6 hours.
There is no railway station in Mui Ne, so if you prefer to travel by train, first you will have to take a bus to Ho Chi Minh City Saigon station and there take a train to the city you need.
Public transport is convenient when traveling alone or as a couple, or if small children do not go with you. Tickets on the bus and train are much cheaper than a taxi ride. However, public transport does not provide you the comfort and security that a transfer does. In addition, you should wait for a long time at a stop, where there are usually a lot of people, and it's very noisy.
