How to Get from Odessa Airport to Other Destinations
This air hub is located 7 km from Odessa, the third largest city in Ukraine. The air hub connects the city with the majority of European and Asian countries. People often search for ways to get from it to different Ukrainian cities. Some of them take a taxi or transfer, while others prefer public transport.
Taxi from Odessa Airport
A taxi station is located outside the airport. Do not take a cab from strangers who suggest their services in the terminal. An average price of a taxi from the air hub to the city is 80 UAH (3 euros). The majority of taxi drivers do not speak English. Moreover, they can cheat naive tourists, who do not know real prices. In case you are going to other cities, it might be more logical to take a transfer instead of a taxi.
Transfer from Odessa Airport

A transfer is always a good option for businessmen and big groups. However, even couples can profit from them in case they plan a long journey. Thus, a transfer from the airport to Odessa in an economy-class car will cost you 26 euros. The price of such a trip in a minivan is 44 euros, and a trip in a minibus for 13 persons costs 47 euros. Public transport from Odessa Airport
There are two ways to get travel the airport by public transport. The first one is by bus line 117, which departs 2-5 times an hour. The trip takes 1 hour, and a ticket costs around 10 UAH (0.3 euro). By bus, you can easily get from the airport to the city center.
Another option is a trolleybus number 14. It circulates 1-4 times an hour. A 35-minute journey will cost you about 5 UAH (0.2 euro). From Odessa, you can reach other Ukrainian cities.
Local transportation is not available at night, unlike taxi and transfer services.

Odessa is a city with great history. If you have already visited the Old Town, you might be interested in going to some museums. For instance, the Museum of Western and Eastern Art has a great collection of paintings, including works of Caravaggio and Rubens.
