How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

Transfers vs. Other Ways to Get from Dalaman Airport

Dalaman Airport, along with the airports of Bodrum and Antalya, receives most tourists coming to Turkey. It has two terminals: the new one is for international flights and the old one is for domestic ones. The departure zone in the international terminal is on the two upper floors, while the arrival zone is on the two lower floors.

Dalaman Airport is the starting point for tourists heading to the resorts of Marmaris and Fethiye, as well as Oludeniz, Kalkan, and Icmeler. If you want, you can also go from Dalaman to Bodrum, Kemer, and Antalya.

How to get from Dalaman Airport to Dalaman city center or the other way round

The airport is just 6 km from Dalaman. You can reach it by:

  • HAVAŞ и MUTTAŞ company buses. They look almost the same, and the quality of their service doesn't differ as well. The shuttle schedule depends on the flights arrival schedule, but the interval is usually one hour. The last bus usually leaves at 01:30, but it is better to check it before the departure;
  • taxi. You can find a taxi in a special parking lot, order it by phone, on the Internet, or by using special buttons that can be found on lampposts and even trees;
  • private transfer from Dalaman Airport. You can order it online on the Kiwitaxi website.

Note: Dalaman is not the last stop of the bus, so do not look for the appropriate road sign, you need buses to Marmaris or Fethiye.

Advantages of a private transfer

You can order a child seat. Safety belts and seats are not obligatory in Turkey, so you will hardly find a taxi with them. In case of a transfer, you should only specify that you need a child seat in your order and it will definitely be in the car.

Do not let the suitcase be a full-fledged passenger. Many Turkish taxi drivers use gas for their cabs, and therefore a large part of the trunk is replaced by a gas cylinder so there is no place for luggage. When ordering a transfer, you specify the required number of baggage seats, and you choose the right vehicle.

No tricks will work with you. A fake banknote is a favorite trick of Turkish drivers. For example, you give a taxi driver 50 TL, he pretends to look for change and then suddenly "realizes" that you gave him 5 TL. The transfer works without any tricks.

You won't travel in an old car. In Turkey, many taxicabs are quite old and not always equipped with air conditioning and serviceable seat belts. In Kiwitaxi, all vehicles are no more than seven years old.

Disadvantage of a private transfer

Approximately three times more expensive. Taxi rate from from the airport to Dalaman is 7-10 dollars, whereas the economy class transfer - 37 dollars.

Advantages of a private transfer

You won't go a dozen kilometers further. Dalaman is not the final destination for shuttles. If you miss a stop in Dalaman, the next one will be in Fethiye (35 km further) or in Marmaris (85 km further).

You will leave directly from the airport. The bus stop is near the exit from the airport as well, but an internal one. Even if you fly to Dalaman via Istanbul, your luggage will still be sent to the international part of the airport, it is 300 meters away. You will have to pick it up first and then go back to the terminal for domestic flights in order to get on the shuttle.

Save time. The shuttle schedule is made according to the flights arriving from Istanbul. If you arrive from another city, you will have to wait for a bus for about an hour.

Disadvantage of a private transfer

Almost 20 times more expensive. A ticket price for a shuttle is only 2 dollars + a small surcharge (0.3 dollars) for each luggage unit.
