Interesting Information
It was Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the first President of Turkey, who made Ankara the capital of the country. Even though this city is not as fascinating as ex-capital Istanbul, it also boasts interesting sights. Anitkabir, the mausoleum of Ataturk, is one of such places. Located on the hill, it gives an opportunity to see the panorama of the city. The museum has a collection of Ataturk personal items and many other things.
