This resort is safe, calm and expensive as it’s the Thai Royal Family’s favorite holiday destination. The distance from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin is 243 km. To reach the resort, one can choose buses, private transfer services, or taxis.

Taxi from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin

A taxi to Hua Hin from Suvarnabhumi Airport costs from 3,000 baht (from around $91). You can hire one via official stands inside the air hub (the rate will be fixed). If you want to save some money, you may first find out the taxi price at the stand and then go outside (to get there, reach the third or fourth floor). There, you may try hailing a vehicle dropping off other passengers. Just come to the taxi driver and start bargaining. It’s possible to agree on a cheaper fare than that offered at stands.

Buses are the cheapest way to get from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin. The fare is 274 baht (around $8.3). The average travel time is 3.5 hours. They operate from 7:30 till 19:30. You can buy a ticket on the first floor of the hub. Note that if you don’t manage to take a seat, you’ll have to wait for the next bus for two hours or more. In Hua Hin, you will arrive at the new station outside the town. From there, you can catch a free minibus/minivan to the center or a paid minibus right to your hotel (100 baht or around $3).

At night hours, one can reach Hua Hin from Suvarnabhumi Airport only by pre-arranged transfer or taxi.
