How to Get from Reus Airport to Reus and Other Destinations
Reus Airport is located 3 km from Reus and 13 km from Tarragona. This small air hub serves more than 1 million passengers a year and is rather popular among tourists due to its good location (the most popular resorts of the Costa Daurada can be reached from here in only 20-30 minutes). To get to their destinations, travelers use buses or taxi and transfer services.
Taxi from Reus Airport
Taxi ranks can be found outside the airport arrivals hall. Official vehicles are white-colored with a blue stripe on the door. The average taxi fares here are the following: to Reus city center - 20 euros, to Tarragona and Salou - 30 euros, to Cambrils - 35 euros, to Barcelona city center - 170 euros, and to El Prat Airport - 150 euros. At night and on holidays, prices increase. And in case several planes arrive at once, waiting for an available car may take a long time.
Transfer from Reus Airport
If you don’t want to spend your time searching for an available taxi or your flight arrives at nighttime, a Kiwitaxi transfer will be the most convenient option.
You reserve a car online, make a full payment or add your card to the booking to pay later, and our driver is waiting for you at the airport at the specified time. He/she gets you to your destination quickly and helps you with your suitcases. Transfer prices remain fixed after you make a booking. Thus, an Economy-class trip to Reus will cost you 28 euros. Transfers to all major nearby resorts are also available for booking.
Public transport from Reus Airport
One can reach Reus city center by bus №50 which runs from 8:00 till 20:00. The fare is 3 euros.
The bus to Barcelona goes to Sants train station (15 euros). Also, other lines can take you to the Costa Daurada (La Pineda, Salou, Port Aventura, Cambrils) and Tarragona. Keep in mind that the departure times of these buses depend on flight schedules, so it is better to check them in advance. Besides, not all lines are available at night, so at this time of day, you will be able to leave the air hub only by taxi or transfer.
The airport has only one terminal. The building is rather small and compact, so even those who are here for the first time won’t get lost inside it. Besides, it has everything needed for passengers’ convenience. Here, one can find three cafeterias, Lost and Found, several car hire offices, banking services, a conference room, duty-free stores, etc. The medical center is open 24/7. Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. A two-minute walk from the building, there is a parking lot.
