How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

How to Get from Alicante to Other Destinations

This is a Spanish port city on the Costa Blanca, situated in the south of the Valencian community. Due to the mild climate and seaside location, the city annually welcomes tourists from all over the world. If planning to return home or start a new trip from Alicante, look up transportation tips we share in this article.

Taxi from Alicante

One can easily order a taxi online, by phone, or hail a cab in the street in Alicante. An average taxi journey to Benidorm costs around 60-70 euros and takes 40 minutes, depending on traffic. For a 20-minute taxi trip to Elche Airport, you’ll have to pay from 25 euros, while getting to Javea will take from 120 euros and an hour. Be sure to take only official local taxis, as unlicensed private drivers can prove to be scammers trying to rip you off.

Transfer from Alicante

Compared to taxi, a pre-ordered transfer is a more reliable way to travel. In case you’re departing late at night, you’ll find it more convenient to enjoy a pre-arranged transportation. To book a Kiwitaxi transfer, specify your trip details in the order form on our website: the exact pick-up place and time, a destination, a number of passengers, etc. A transfer to Benidorm costs from 66 euros and takes 40 minutes. Reaching the air hub by Kiwitaxi service will take from 34 euros and 20 minutes. All our transfer fares are fixed and range according to car classes.

Public Transport from Alicante

You may take a metro tram at the city’s Mercado station to reach Benidorm in an hour and 10 minutes and spend 3-6 euros per ticket. In case you need to get further to Calp, you can take a train at this station, spending 6-8 euros per person and 2,5 hours in total.

To reach the airport, you can take a bus from Elche – Parque San Gabriel station. Ticket prices range from 1 to 4 euros, and the travel time makes 25-30 minutes.

Although public transport is cheap, it’s a bad choice for people traveling with small children and big suitcases. Moreover, unlike taxis and transfers, buses and trains are unavailable at night.
