How to Get from Alicante to Other Destinations
This is a Spanish port city on the Costa Blanca, situated in the south of the Valencian community. Taxi from Alicante
One can easily order a taxi online, by phone, or hail a cab in the street in Alicante. An average taxi journey to Benidorm costs around 60-70 euros and takes 40 minutes, depending on traffic. For a 20-minute taxi trip to Elche Airport, you’ll have to pay from 25 euros, while getting to Javea will take from 120 euros and an hour. Be sure to take only official local taxis, as unlicensed private drivers can prove to be scammers trying to rip you off.
Transfer from Alicante
Compared to taxi, a pre-ordered transfer is a more reliable way to travel. In case you’re departing late at night, you’ll find it more convenient to enjoy a pre-arranged transportation. Public Transport from Alicante
You may take a metro tram at the city’s Mercado station to reach Benidorm in an hour and 10 minutes and spend 3-6 euros per ticket. In case you need to get further to Calp, you can take a train at this station, spending 6-8 euros per person and 2,5 hours in total.
To reach the airport, you can take a bus from Elche – Parque San Gabriel station. Ticket prices range from 1 to 4 euros, and the travel time makes 25-30 minutes.
Although public transport is cheap, it’s a bad choice for people traveling with small children and big suitcases. Moreover, unlike taxis and transfers, buses and trains are unavailable at night.
