Why do people book transfers at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO)

Transfer is a transportation service which meets and brings you exactly where you asked: a Kiwitaxi driver meets you at the airport (as close to the Arrivals as possible), at the hotel reception or at the exactly given address, helps you with your luggage and brings you fast- track to your destination.

You can pre-order inexpensive taxi transfer to the city center or to the airport, comfortable car transfer for the family with children, Economy minivan for a tourist group or a Luxury transfer. The transfer cost from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport is fixed at the time of pre-order and never rises : either when the driver is waiting for the passenger, when the stop is necessary, or because of traffic jams.

Customer feedback

Superorganized in every detail. ....The information before, upgrading the car without extra charge in advance, the fast and nice service at the pick up place and the reasonable price!
Ten out of ten. Both drivers were on time and professional. Would definitely use Kiwi taxis again. Communication was also good Keeping us informed of driver contact details
The driver was waiting for us at the exit, even with the plane arriving late. He was very polite, drove well, we could understand each other perfectly in english (even that it was not our first language). Everything went well and I definetly recommend the service.

Transfers vs. Other Ways to Get from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport

Moscow International Airport Sheremetyevo is located approximately 30 km away from Central Administrative District of Moscow, in the north-west. This is one of four Moscow airports and the busiest in Russia. In Sheremetyevo there are four passenger terminals: “А”, “D”, “E”, “F” (former Sheremetyevo-2) and one cargo terminal. New terminal “B” is being built. The terminals are located in different places of the airport and require different travel time and transport to get there, so here is a short airport transport guide.

How to Get from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport to city center and the other way round

One can get to three Sheremetyevo Airport terminals (D, E, F) quite easily, but terminal A and terminal B (under construction) are located in the distance. Transport, departing from the airport:

  • buses (№№ 851, 817, Н1) and fixed-route taxis (№№ 948,949). The majority of routes runs from air terminal to metro stations “Rechnoy vokzal” and “Planernaya”, but there are some routes, running to “Leninsky Prospekt”;
