How to Get from St Petersburg Nevsky District to the Airport and Other Destinations
Nevsky District is located to the southeast of Saint Petersburg and is the only district of the city located on both banks of the Neva. This area is rich in different industrial facilities (several dozen factories and plants operate here). To get from Nevsky District to the airport or other destinations in the city, people use taxis, transfers, and various modes of public transport.
Taxi from St Petersburg Nevsky District
As there are plenty of taxi services in the city, it is easy to order a car here. You can book a vehicle by phone or take one on the street. Keep in mind that many taxi companies offer discounts for online orders, so in some cases, it is more beneficial to make a reservation through websites. On average, a ride from Nevsky District to the city center (Nevsky Prospect) costs €5.2, and to Pulkovo - €9.2. Also, note that it is better to book a taxi to the airport well in advance, as there are often traffic jams on the roads.
Transfer from St Petersburg Nevsky District
If you are one of those travelers who hate uncomfortable public transport, as well as making changes on the way, or need to travel after midnight, choosing a Kiwitaxi transfer will be a good option for you.
The ride from Nevsky District to Pulkovo will cost €16. This fare will stay fixed once your order is made. Our transfer driver will be waiting in the appointed place with a special name sign in his/her hands. If you are a big group, we may offer you a minibus transfer.
You can also book a transfer to one of the train stations of the city.
Public transport from St Petersburg Nevsky District
If you are going from Nevsky District to the air hub, you will first need to take the metro and reach Moskovskaya station (€0.6). There, you can take a bus N39, an express bus N39Э, or a share taxi K39 to Pulkovo. The fare will be around €0.5 plus baggage fee.
In order to reach other districts, you can use buses, share taxis, trams, trolleybuses, and the metro, as well. But don’t forget that public transport doesn’t run late at night. In this case, booking a transfer will be the best option.
