How do I find and book a transfer?

Specify the place of departure in the "From" field, and your destination - in the "To" field. You can choose the desired city, airport, train station, port, and hotel from the drop-down menu or enter the exact address of the place.

Click the button "View prices". Choose the suitable transfer class and click "Book" to proceed to the booking.

How far in advance should I book a transfer?

Minimum time of pre-order depends on the vehicle class.

If you want to book vehicles of Premium class or Minibus 10, 13, 16, 19 pax, you can make a booking not less than 24 hours before the trip.

If you choose standard types of vehicles (Micro, Economy, Comfort, Minivan 4 pax, Minibus 7 pax), transfer must be booked not less than 16 hours before its beginning.

If your trip starts later than the time given above, you can make an urgent booking. It will take some time for us to find a car. We will inform you as soon as possible if we can provide the service.

How do I know if my booking has gone through?

After you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with a voucher containing your booking number and all the details of your journey.

If you have not received the email with the confirmation, please contact our manager by email at support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

What should I do if my flight is delayed?

As soon as you find out that your flight is delayed, please inform your driver by calling the phone number sent to you before, Kiwitaxi support manager via email support@kiwitaxi.com or in online chat.

Provide the order number and the new arrival time.

How can I find my driver?

Important note: the driver will meet you with the sign showing your first and last names, which you specified during the booking.

If a pick-up place is an airport, the driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you passed passport control and claimed baggage.

If a pick-up place is a hotel, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby.

How to Get From Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport to Estoril 

Located only 20 minutes away from the city center, Humberto Delgado Airport (also known as Portela Airport) is the main international air hub of Lisbon. Being one of the few airports close to the city center, Humberto Delgado Airport preserve its status of a main air hub since the construction of a new one has been suspended. The Lisbon air hub got a new terminal and improved shopping and eating areas as well the terminal shuttle. A day trip away from Lisbon, Estoril is a resort town on Portuguese Riviera which offers beaches for relaxation, hiking, and cycling for nature lovers. There is a lot to do in Estoril with its historical casino or its cuisine laden with fresh seafood. 

Taxi from Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport to Estoril 

Registered taxis in Lisbon are cream colored and can be found lined up at the terminal exits at the airport. It takes around 25 minutes to get to Estoril and on average costs €20. Unfortunately, there is no fixed price for the taxi from the airport and the price might change according to rate and traffic. Your driver might charge you extra for the luggage as well. Be sure to wear your seatbelt since Lisbon taxi driving style includes a lot of braking. Make sure to have your destination written down in case your driver does not speak English and check if the meter is turned on. 

Public Transport from Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport to Estoril 

Public transportation is the cheapest option to get from the airport to Estoril. But there are no direct trains from Lisbon air hub, so you have to take the red metro line and change to green line to get to Cais do Sodre station for €1.45. From there, you can take the train to Estoril. A single travel costs €2.25 and takes 36 minutes. It runs every 30 minutes until 1:30 am (after that time, only taxis and pre-booked transfers are at your disposal). You have to buy €0.50 Viva Viagem card and top it up. Keep in mind that day ticket for Lisbon does not include the train to Estoril despite the short distance.
