Had a wonderful experience with Kiwitaxi! When I arrived, there was a nice young lady holding a sign with my name. I can’t remember her name, but she was really sweet and waited with me until my driver, Guilherme arrived. Guilherme was excellent! Very safe driver and I felt comfortable. He assisted with my baggage without me having to ask. The car was clean and he even had a cold bottle of water waiting for me. He was super polite and even messaged me wishing me a great trip! How to Get from Gdansk Airport to Gdansk City Center and Other Destinations

Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport includes two air terminals serving over 4 million passengers a year and is the third largest air hub in the country. If you are planning to enter Poland through the air hub and searching for information how to get from there to Gdansk downtown and other neighboring destinations, you’ll find some tips in this article.

Taxi from Gdansk Airport

There are always taxis waiting for passengers at ranks in front of the terminals. Although official taxi drivers use a meter, nevertheless, make sure to ask an estimated price before getting in the car, just to be on the safe side. A taxi to the city center will cost from 14 euros and take around 30 minutes. You also may take a cab to Sopot or Gdynia: a trip to the first destination will make from 17 euros and take half an hour, and getting to the latter by taxi – from 20 euros and 40 minutes.

The airport’s Terminal 1 has no check-in desks, but offers multiple duty-free shops located near the departure gates. The newer Terminal 2 is connected to the older one with a bridge, and planned to be extended.
